To ensure the most accurate diagnostic results, please follow these general preparation instructions before your specimen collection appointment. Proper preparation is critical for clinical precision and turnaround time compliance.
Fasting Requirements
Certain tests (such as Lipid Panels or Glucose) require you to fast for 8–12 hours. During this time, do not consume food or beverages other than plain water. Continue taking medications unless otherwise directed by your healthcare provider.
Hydration
Hydration is key for successful blood draws and urinalysis. Please drink plenty of water in the 24 hours leading up to your visit. Avoid alcohol and caffeine as they can lead to dehydration and affect certain metabolic results.
Scheduling and Check-in
Please arrive 10 minutes early with your photo ID and other documents . For specimen pickups or mobile services, ensure the environment is ready for our technician's arrival.
